About the Zantium artists

Founded by Peter and Alison Massey in 1998, Zantium is a creative partnership specialising in mosaic and painted murals. Activities include working to commission, teaching and managing group projects.

Peter Massey Peter Massey MA (RCA) Illustration.
Peter graduated from the RCA London in 1991 and worked as a freelance illustrator. Clients included Ladybird, Dorling Kindersley and the Natural History Museum, London.
He now works full time as a mosaic and mural artist for Zantium and teaches private courses at Zantium Studios.
Alison Massey

Alison Massey BA (hons) Textile Design.
Alison studied at Leeds University and went on to work as a designer in the textile industry and lecturer in surface pattern.
She now designs and makes mosaic for Zantium and manages the private course programme and accommodation at Zantium Studios.
