Godfrey Hole Cottage - sleeps 3

Godfrey Hole Cottage is located just next door to Godfrey Hole House and the Zantium Studios. It is currently undergoing complete renovation and will be available as holiday accommodation from Easter 2010. This can be booked for week long lets at peak times or short breaks (minimum of 3 nights) outside the school holidays. It sleeps up to 3 people.

• 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 single
• 1 bathroom with bath & shower
• Lounge with original beams, wood burning stove, TV, DVD & CD players
• Kitchen with electric oven, ceramic hob, fridge, microwave etc
• Glass roofed breakfast room to rear of property
• Oil fired central heating and double glazing throughout
• End terrace of 4 with garden and off-road parking

Godfrey Hole House stands at right angles to the cottages. Originally a farm, the buildings are thought to date from the mid 17th century. We are situated just outside Wirksworth, between Matlock and Ashbourne. (B4503)

In the past, we have offered B&B for our students on site at Godfrey Hole House. We now have a young family and can no longer provide this.
There are, however, plenty of good accommodation options very nearby, including B&B's, hotels and self catering. Camping/caravanning is also available. We are well serviced for pubs, cafes and restaurants providing plenty of choice for eating out.
