Tutors: Sarah Jones and Marie-Therese KingSarah and Marie-Therese are based in Worcestershire where they run their own colourful company, Eekbatik. In addition to designing and making their own work, they have been running batik workshops for over 5 years. They also market their own distinctive range of prints and greetings cards. Sarah studied Printmaking and Graphic Design at Camberwell Art College. Her career has spanned music, homoeopathy and art. She has also worked in set design and costume. She is experienced in teaching both adults and children. Marie-Therese studied Graphic Design at Glos CAT and Multi-Disciplinary design at North Staffs Polytechnic, specialising in sandblasted glass and later Batik. She has exhibited widely and been an active member of the 'Worcestershire Guild of Designer Craftsmen' for 10 years. In 2009 she was selected for Oxford's prestigious 'Art in Action' event. |

Materials
A cover charge of £12 per person will be made for the stretcher frame (which you take home), cotton, wax and dyes. This also includes 10 card mounts and envelopes. If desired, additional materials may be purchased for an extra fee. |
