Mosaic Summer/Autumn School - Peter Massey

Join
us in the Zantium Studio for five blissful days of mosaic! Open
to both beginners and the more experienced, this course offers a
great choice of projects and techniques. Try your hand at different styles using a range of materials from cut tesserae to pebbles. The possibilities are endless - table tops, splash backs, terracotta pots, paving slabs. Projects can be tailor made to suit your individual ideas. |

The Course (Five days)Throughout the course there will be slide shows, talks and demonstrations. Design and technical advice is given as a group or on a one to one basis. Over the five days students have chance to experiment with different materials and techniques or concentrate on one specific larger project. |

Tutor: Peter MasseyPeter is co-founder of Zantium, a creative partnership specialising in mosaic. Varied commissions range from decorative panels and furnishings to larger architectural works such as shop interiors and pavements. Their distinctive mosaics are featured in several publications including their own book "A Beginner's Guide to Mosaic" (Search Press). |

Materials A selection of quality materials will be available at an additional
charge. Depending on the project, the price is typically around
£12 per square foot of mosaic.
