This
all absorbing workshops provides a wonderful introduction to using wire and beads to make
jewellery. Over the 2 days students will be able complete earrings,
necklaces and simple brooches, all based on the manipulation of
wire. Many different techniques will be covered, all of which may be continued at home without the need for specialist equipment. |
The course
The techniques taught can be achieved with the use of simple tools
and materials. They provide a framework for jewellery-making that
can be pursued in the home without using chemicals, burners
or other expensive apparatus.
No prior experience of jewellery-making is necessary. It is useful,
however, to have some dexterity and good eyesight - or glasses! |
