A taster day using willow to create organic sculptural forms. Practice simple random weave techniques to create spheres, hearts, fish and other organic shapes.
Emma offers a choice of projects, encouraging individual style and creativity. The class may be studio or garden-based, depending on the weather.
Open to all – both beginners and those with experience.

Emma has been a freelance artist since 1997, originally as a commercial illustrator and later working as a community artist.
She now specialises in willow sculpture, focusing mainly on wildlife subjects and decorative objects. She strives to bring out the character of an animal, drawing on her years as an illustrator. Emma has created commissions for both private and public sector, including Derbyshire County Council and The National Trust. She has exhibited a number of pieces at Kedleston Hall.
