Design and construct your own stunning leaded light panel. A practical workshop to develop skills and learn the traditional method of leadwork.
Over the 3 days you will make an original leaded glass panel with a surface area of approximately 1 square foot.
A choice of templates will be provided or design your own if you prefer. Lilian will take time during the course to advise on designing specifically for stained glass so it is best not to plan too much in advance.
This course is suitable for complete beginners of those with some experience.
“I found Lilian’s teaching style and passion for stained glass inspirational. I really enjoyed my time, and your hospitality was lovely.”
Tutor: Lilian Shaw
Lilian trained originally as a painter working in oils and pastels. Her love of light and colour led her to pursue a career as a stained glass artist. She founded her own studio in 1986.
She has many varied commissions to her name both in the UK and abroad. These include pieces for private clients, churches and the National Trust.
Lilian is an experienced and conscientious tutor with a genuine passion for her craft.
“Lili is inspiring – she guides you through every step of the process, gives great advice and encourages you to learn through hands on experience.”
