ABOUT THE ARTISTS

PETER MASSEY

Peter graduated from London’s Royal College of Art in 1994. As a freelance illustrator he specialised in children’s publications and wildlife subjects. Clients included Ladybird Books and The Natural History Museum

He now produces mosaics and murals for Zantium and teaches Workshops at Zantium Studios

Alison studied Textile Design at Leeds University

She has worked as a designer in industry and lecturer in surface pattern 

She now designs for Zantium and manages the Craft Courses programme at Zantium Studios

Planning

Projects are tailored to suit your ideas, budget and the number/age/ability of participants

Materials are carefully selected for their aesthetic and performance qualities

Design

Designs are based around your chosen concept. We can incorporate text, logos and specific colours. We can work from photos, illustrations, children’s drawings etc

Themes often encompass local history, heritage, nature, maps, landmarks

Participation

We encourage inclusivity and enjoyment, promoting a sense of ownership and pride

Participants may be involved at various stages in the process from design concept to completion Every brushstroke or tile placement makes a valuable contribution to the end result

Price

Each project is different. Prices vary depending upon size, complexity and number of sessions required

A typical project could involve between 1 and 5 days of practical workshops
