Tutor: Kate Watson
Kate studied Silversmithing and Jewellery Design at Sheffield Hallam University and went on to work for a leading contemporary jewellery company. She has been a teacher for 12 years.
She now runs her own Studio/Gallery in Belper, Derbyshire, developing her own jewellery collections and working to commission.

Materials
Sterling silver sheet and wire are available to purchase on the day. The price will be determined by the size (and therefore weight) of the items you choose to make. There is also a small cover charge for consumables of £5 per person.
Note: This is in addition to the course fee
Health & Safety
This workshop involves the handling and soldering of metals. It requires the use of sharp tools, heat and chemicals. Noise levels will be high at times. Protective goggles and earplugs will be provided.
Every effort will be made to keep the studio environment safe and well ventilated with clear safety briefings given.
