Description
A taster day using willow to create simple sculptural forms. Practise random weave techniques to make a bird, fish, sphere, heart or pod.
Caroline will share her wealth of knowledge about all things willow…how to grow, harvest, prepare, sculpt and weave. Starting with a bundle of pliable willow rods and a basic sketch, you will learn how to construct a natural 3D structure of your choice. Beginners welcome. This class may take place indoors or out, depending on the weather. The studio is light and airy, the garden backs onto fields; both lovely places to work.
