The art of painting signs by hand has a rich and colourful history. From advertising to fairground displays, vintage to modern, hand painted signage is designed to attract your attention. Styles vary hugely from simple, bold graphics to elaborate fonts with flourishes and embellishments.
The course is aimed at beginners and includes the following:
- Opening talk – materials, techniques, design ideas
- Practice painting exercises
- Transferring your chosen design
- Completing your personalised panel
Return home with your own unique sign, suitable for interior or exterior display. Both the product and the experience gain top marks for originality – a superb choice for yourself or treat for someone special.

Lunch & Refreshments
A tasty light lunch is included in the course fee. Help yourself to drinks and biscuits throughout the day with homemade cake mid-afternoon. (Please let us know of any dietary requirements).
