Create your own chirpy little friend to take home! A tactile 1-day workshop exploring 3D needle felting techniques. Armed with new skills and simple tools, you can continue this fun and therapeutic craft at your leisure.
This workshop is open to beginners and improvers. You will learn to needle felt a delicate festive robin (approx. 9cm tall). Jo will introduce you to the basics of dry felting natural wool fibre. By forming simple shapes and joining them together you will gradually build your soft bird structure. Different shades can be mixed or overlapped to produce markings. The addition of eyes and beak, legs and a stand will complete your creature and bring him/her life. Full of character, your adorable sculpture will take centre stage this Christmas and many more to come.
