Enjoy a creative day in the garden working with willow. Make an obelisk or plant support (perfect for those sweet peas) – plus a decorative sunflower, dragonfly or bird feeder.
You will learn a range of techniques and complete a couple of items to take home. Our tutor will share his wealth of knowledge about all things willow…how to grow, harvest, prepare and weave. He will also explain the basics of planting living willow in your garden to build larger structures such as dens, arbours and tunnels. Open to all – both beginners and those with experience. Come rain or shine, this class will take place outdoors. Our garden backs onto fields with views across to Carsington Water making it a lovely place to work.
