Description
Taking inspiration from the vibrant mosaics of Barcelona, this course promises a riot of colour and pattern. Choose your own project – sundial, birdbath, wall plaque, terracotta pot or platter. Enjoy delicious tapas-style lunches and homemade cakes…with luck, alfresco!
Embrace the freedom of this joyful approach. We provide an array of glazed tiles, broken crockery and china fragments for Trencadis or Picassiette designs. You are welcome to bring along your own object to embellish if you wish…and/or your own personal collection of salvaged ‘breakages’. Open to both beginners and those with experience, Peter will offer advice on design, materials and technique. Grouting and finishing demonstrations conclude the workshop.
“Pure delight to have the opportunity to do some mosaic and be so well supported by professionals in a friendly environment”
